Pour-Over Grind Size

What grind size should I use for pour-over?

Start around medium-fine for V60 and Kalita, and a little coarser for Chemex. If the brew drains too fast and tastes sharp, grind finer; if it stalls or tastes harsh and dry, grind coarser.

What to Check First

Match grind to brewer and filter thickness.

Use drawdown and taste together.

Change pour pattern only after the grind is close.
