The short answer: the frother model's manual decides whether a milk frother jug is dishwasher safe. On the Nespresso Aeroccino3, the heater is built into the jug, so the whole jug stays out of the dishwasher and out of standing water. On the Breville Milk Café BMF600, an induction base heats a plain steel jug, so the jug can go in the dishwasher and only the base stays dry.
Electrical contacts under a milk frother jug do not settle the question on their own. The Aeroccino4 jug sits on a base connector, yet the Aeroccino4 manual calls every part except the base dishwasher resistant up to 70 °C / 158 °F. A heater built into the jug, as on the Aeroccino3, does rule the dishwasher out. The power base, and the motor handle of a handheld frother, never go in a dishwasher.

The Nespresso Aeroccino3 manual says never to immerse the base or the Aeroccino itself in water or other liquids and not to clean it in the dishwasher, citing the risk of electric shock. Wash the Aeroccino3 jug interior by hand and rinse it without submerging it.
The Nespresso Aeroccino4 manual allows every part except the base in the dishwasher at no more than 70 °C / 158 °F. The same manual warns that abrasives, sharp objects and brushes can damage the Aeroccino4 jug coating. The Aeroccino4 manual also says not to place the jug directly over a dishwasher pin, which can damage the inner coating, that the unit is no longer dishwasher safe once it has been dropped, and that the bottom of the Aeroccino4 jug must be dry before the jug goes back on the base connector.
The Breville BMF600 instruction booklet allows the stainless steel jug, lid, measuring cap and frothing discs on the dishwasher top shelf, and recommends hand-washing the discs. Breville's product page ties the dishwasher-safe jug to the induction design; the base stays out of the dishwasher.
Instant's Instant Pot Milk Frother page calls the lid and whisk dishwasher safe and describes a non-stick interior. The Instant Pot Milk Frother pitcher is not listed as dishwasher safe, so wash that pitcher by hand.
Instant's MagicFroth 9-in-1 page lists a dishwasher-safe pitcher, lid and whisk, and a capacity to froth up to 8.5 oz or heat up to 17 oz. The MagicFroth base is electrical and stays out of the dishwasher.
Whole Latte Love's Bodum Latteo listing calls the glass-carafe plunger frother completely dishwasher safe. With no electrics, the Latteo is the simplest milk frother to put in a dishwasher.
Rinse a hand-wash-only milk frother jug right after use, before milk dries. Add warm water and a drop of dish soap, wipe the inside with a soft sponge, then rinse under the tap while keeping the underside connector dry.
